About Clifford B Kim

Dr. Clifford Kim joined Mass Eye and Ear as an Ophthalmology Hospitalist in 2021. In this role, he provides consultations for patients admitted to Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as on-call coverage for Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he teaches and supervises clinical fellows and ophthalmology residents in the Mass Eye and Ear Emergency Department. He is also a consultant for a digital healthcare company.

Dr. Kim earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, where he also completed his residency training in ophthalmology. During his medical school and residency years, he conducted translational research in the laboratory of former Mass Eye and Ear scientist Dr. Kip Connor, and has authored several peer-reviewed publications on topics ranging from neovascular retinopathies to ocular hypertension.
