I had a terrific visit with Dr. Alabre and I specifically like going to him because he listens and he always offers me good advice. And sometimes if I don't understand something, he's very good at explaining something to me just as a common person.

Relationship with Dr Alabre is long-term. I am totally satisfied. He keeps carful records of my condition and addresses them as we speak. The last visit was to address the total state of my health and what shots I need to keep current. Blood was taken so that my current state of health is verified.

I think Dr. Alabre was worried about my health, and perhaps forgot the vaccines i was going to get. But it's good that he's worried (or concerned!) about my health.

This was my first visit since Dr. [redacted] retired. [redacted] I repeatedly asked for assurance that this appt. would not only be a "Welcome to Medicare" visit, but would also allow for addressing health questions that I had. I'm unsure if this confusion is the reason for my dissatisfaction, but I felt that it was mostly, not all, a waste of my time during this appt. Most of the visit was me being asked questions that I had already completed online. Dr. Alabre often looked at his watch, and most upsetting was his comment that his next patient was waiting! It gave me the impression that he was only paper-pushing to complete the Medicare requirements. I did not get to ask a few other questions that I had, although I was able to squeeze in that I was having shoulder pain and he was able to refer me for PT. [redacted]

So this was an emergency visit at my request. My regular physician was not in the office. I was given a prompt meeting on the day that I requested it. Doctor had to play some catch up because he didn't have experience with me, but he was actually great. He took a lot of time and was very careful with trying to find out the exact details of my situation. So I was very impressed and felt very confident.
