Dr. Hamilton was recommended to conduct the exam because my regular doctor had a full schedule. She was extremely accommodating, friendly, helpful and succinct. Her recommendation for treatment is showing success les than a week from the visit.

I originally chose Dr. Hamilton because she was head of pediatric dermatology (but seeing adult patients too), and I figured that she would have a terrific "bedside manner". That prediction was so accurate! She is the epitome of a careful, caring physician who very quickly comes to know you as a person, but also as a patient with quirks and sub-optimal practices that could use gentle nudges in the right direction. She has also made me feel totally comfortable in an embarrassing situation. I have implicit trust in her decisions, such as when to do a biopsy, and when one is not needed. She always gives advice that I know I need to pay attention to, knowing that her advice comes from a place of concern, and not any sense of the superiority that can be evident from some doctors in a doctor / patient relationship. Our daughter has something that is being watched by her dermatologist, but she has expressed ongoing concerns about. Of course I suggested that she see Dr. Hamilton for a second opinion (which would be, IMHO, the primary opinion in our daughter's case if it was contrary to her own dermatologists opinion). I obviously would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Hamilton to anyone!
