He completed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Massachusetts General Hospital in 2023 which included clinical training in cardiac computed tomography. Dr. McCarthy’s research focuses on the diagnosis, prevention, and management of heart disease with a particular focus on coronary artery disease and heart attacks.
