I really like meeting with Dr. Tess. I really enjoyed having him as my primary care and I look forward to seeing him in the future. I always feel comfortable sharing any of my concerns or asking any questions and I feel like he treats me with a high standard of care. I feel the same way about the nurses and all of the staff at MGH Downtown as well. I had a really great experience.

Dr.Tess is always welcoming and very professional. His staff has always been very timely and supportive of the tasks and any requests at hand.

Yes, so I've been seeing Dr. Tess for over 25 years, I think, and he's always been very, very helpful, kind, and professional, and just very, very knowledgeable about my care and always providing great guidance and follow-up and feedback on everything. He's on top of everything. Just great. The only thing I would say is that I feel a little rushed. It's always been that way, but it's gotten worse over the years. I don't think it's so much in him. I think that there just aren't enough doctors to see everyone. But that's sometimes it can feel a little impersonal. So, but it is what it is, I suppose. [redacted]

Dr. Tess is great. He really listens to my questions and answers them so that I understand what he is saying. He is kind and does not rush me during any of my appointments. He follows up via Gateway promptly with any test results, and I always get a quick reply if I send a Gateway message.

It was a quick visit but never felt rushed. The provider answered my questions and didn't seem annoyed when I would mention something else on my mind

Yes, my primary care physician, I've been seeing him for 20 years, I think 20, 25 years. I'm not going to change him. Overall, he's a great doctor, exceptional care. He listens, he talks to you, he gives you medical advice. Overall, I'm not going to change him. Even I moved from downtown Boston, where I used to work 20 to 25 years ago, moved to Revere. And other places in the state, I still go to Mass General Hospital like that in downtown.

Dr. Tess is so wonderful. He always makes you feel like he has lots of time to spend with you and answer your questions, which is very unusual in the current healthcare atmosphere. I also think that he really does try to help me be more healthy in a holistic way and to be practicing things that contribute to my health. He is a great doctor.

As always, I was treated with respect, and everyone was professional. No waiting was taken on time.

Dr. Tess is one of the most attentive PCPs I've had. I hadn't seen him in almost 2 years and our interaction was like I'd seen him the week before. He addressed all of my complaints with care and support. Also importantly, I didn't feel rushed.

Dr. Tess was outstanding! He treated me because my PCP was busy and he could not have provided me with better care. He was very thorough with his examination of me and he went above and beyond to schedule a CT and blood work at MGH's main campus to ensure I did not have to make the 90 mile round trip to Boston the next day and to get the fastest diagnosis possible. I cannot thank Dr. Tess enough!!!
