Yes, I thought from the very beginning right up until my one-year checkup, it couldn't have been any better. I mean, everyone was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. I am absolutely 100% happy with the results and the way everything went from day one right up until the yearly checkup. The only other comment I want to make is when I was doing this survey, I thought the questions were going to be one no and two yes. And so I hit two on the very first question when in fact I preferred to have hit four. So just someone please make a note of that. Again, I was very happy with the whole experience. It was fantastic.

The nurses who cared for me after surgery were extremely good to me. And made sure I had everything I needed. The surgical team also helped to alleviate any fears that I may have had before surgery. I cannot express enough the kindness and care I received from all of them.

This was my first visit with this provider and even though it ran a little late, I assume that is because they do take the time to speak with their patients. Had a lot of time with the nurse practitioner, Colleen, who was very nice and went over things and explained a lot prior to seeing the doctor. Dr Melnic was very nice as well and also explained that I would need a CT scan to determine the extent of arthritis damage to my kneecap and how that would affect surgery.

I appreciate the information on robot assisted knee replacement Dr. Melnic has provided. The understanding and patience of my doctor and the nurse practitioner help me feel calmer and build trust.

He explained things fully in a way that made sense. He also was able to get me a second Xray for my hip without me having to come back another day. He also has me scheduled for surgery much sooner than I thought possible

I felt that this provider spent ample time with me along with his NP/PA. I didn't feel rushed & my questions were answered thoroughly.

He did not rush to do surgery but recommended MRI to evaluate the condition, which was good. Wish he had spent a little more time to examine the knees.

I was diagnosed by an orthopedic surgeon in New Hampshire that I needed a knee replacement. And when I met with Dr. Melnic, he felt strongly that I should get a partial knee replacement instead of a total knee replacement. And it seems like absolutely the right thing to do. And I feel like it's a better diagnosis than I had before. And I'm looking forward to having a partial knee replacement by Dr. Melnic.

I have had - what I deem - a fair, not great, result with my knee replacement. I can't see my doctor - who basically has not been available for more than 5 minutes and 0 after my surgery to discuss results, follow-up options, etc. I did not see him after my surgery - which after 8 other orthopaedic surgeries is a first. For this 7:45 am appt, my doctor cancelled, but I was able to see an associate/fellow. I was to arrive at 7:15, appt 7:45, ultimately saw him around 8:35. Whe I saw him, he was GREAT! Gave me lots of time, explained my options, his follow-up was prompt - it seems like he may have been double booked - but otherwise - this appointment was what I expected and hoped for to make a difficult decision about next steps.

I was kept waiting for 2 hours. The initial person who checked me in for my appointment did not notify the MD staff that I had checked in. This put the MD's schedule off and caused my very long wait. The care I received was excellent. The issue was with the office staff.

I was somewhat disappointed by the decision on the part of the provider that the practice would not operate on my knee due to my overweight. The doctor was honest about my fat issue and that stitching a "fatty"knee back up during the course of knee replacement surgery is a big liability. But now I have to lose 50 pounds and I will be limping around for another year! boo hoo my problem!

From the front desk staff to the PA to Dr. Melnic, everyone was courteous and efficient. In a word, SUPER! This was a follow up after my knee surgery and the Doctor reviewed x-rays and my walking and standing.

The revision surgery of my left knee was extremely difficult since the previous joint replacement had been put on crooked(by Dr. [redacted] at Cooley Dickinson) and the plastic inside had broken. Dr. Melnic has the rare expertise and wisdom required to rebuild my knee and implant metal rods in my leg to make it functional again. His skill level is way beyond comparison. I do believe he must be one of the very best surgeons in the world. I feel profoundly lucky to have found him. He not only saved my leg, but he saved my life. He recognized the problem in my knee immediately and knew what to do. [redacted] Dr. Melnic has given me a functional life! I can now take walks with my granddaughters and I've also gained the ability to exercise which has enabled me to lose 40 pounds. What an incredible gift that is!
