Dr.Cano is a wonderful provider. He is very caring and very patient and gives you the time needed to answer all questions but also is very interested in hearing my input. He had all my information available about my progress with using the C-PAP machine and complimented me on my progress.

Dr. Chris Kano is very kind, very thoughtful, very thorough, always on time, always good listener and I appreciate the care that he provides.

Dr Cano was very respectful. He asked me what I wanted to talk to him about and what was important to me. He explained everything to me and frequently asked me if I had any questions. He knew all of my past medical history including medications. He told me what the plan was and asked if that made sense to me and if I was agreeable to that.

Dr Cano is very intelligent but he does not talk down to you and he is a great listener.

Dr Cano makes you feel seen and heard all throughout the visit. There is no shaming for either not knowing, understanding or not doing something right only explaining, asking how he can help make thing easier with true interest. He has also looked at my notes before the appointment a rare occurrence these days and so appreciated!!

I found this provider to be one of the most thorough providers I've ever seen. I felt that he answered all questions, asked if I had any additional questions, did not feel like any question that I asked was, I guess for lack of a better word, a dumb question, was very thorough with the research that's out there, evidence-based research. So I had a very good experience.

Dr. Cano is very, very courteous and he listens completely to you. This was my first appointment with Dr. Cano who was both very welcoming and serious about the concerns with which I presented. Dr. Cano had already examined my latest medical records regarding my visits to orthopedics, the findings, and reasons for referring me to a neologist. Before seeing him, I had an emergency visit to have a pacemaker inserted and he involved that in the explanation of my symptoms that were now relieved. Dr. Cano related the findings of the orthopedic surgeon and the surgeon's decisions that operating was not an option and why. Dr. Cano was extremely thorough in his discussions of all the different factors affecting my present condition and thoroughly explained how the final decisions were reached. Dr. Cano gave me an overall picture of what had transpired and why various decisions were made. This was a great overall picture that helped me see where I am today. In addition, Dr. Cano was attentive, explained everything to my satisfaction, listened to my comments, and fully answered everything I questioned. I could not be more satisfied.

Dr Cano ranks among the best physicians that I have ever been to. He reviewed all my pertinent medical records prior to the consult and was thoroughly prepared. His knowledge of neurology is extensive and indepth. Dr Cano has the distinct ability to listen, isolate the key issues, focus on those key issues, formulate a medical plan and then thoroughly explain his recommendations in clear language. He explanations and recommendations were thorough and easy to understand. He listened carefully to all my questions and addressed in detail all my concerns. Dr. Cano is one of the best physicians that I have ever seen!!! He is just wonderful and knows neurology like no one else. I first saw him for my severe Restless Legs. He knew exactly what I needed to do and I feel like he saved my life. I do exactly what he suggests and I have NO restless legs. PS: He is also a really nice guy and cares about me. Last week, he correctly diagnosed and suggested treatment for a severe eye itchy, gritty eye problem. BINGO I did what he said and my eyes are without pain, for the first time in 6 months. As a nurse for over 50 years, I was very impressed with Dr. Cano as a physician. He was very knowledgeable, thorough and consistently kind and respectful. It was obvious that he had taken the time to become familiar with my history and reviewed my records prior to my arrival. He then asked about my own experience over the last year and the impact the changes in the persistent issue with decreased sensation in my legs had in my daily life. He listened very attentively to what I had to say. Following our discussion, Dr Cano then did a thorough neuro exam and provided feedback as he was assessing the issues. During the encouter he was open to my questions and concerns and provided me with the "reasons that my numbness will most likely persist" while assuring me that things would not get worse in the future. Although I had to wait 7 months to get a neurology appointment at BWH, I left feeling that an encouter with Dr. Cano was absolutely worth it! He is an asset to the BWH system.
