About Christine G Lian

Dr. Christine Lian is an Associate Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and a practicing dermatopathologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH), where she specializes in the diagnosis of a broad spectrum of inflammatory, infectious, and neoplastic skin disorders. In both her clinical and academic roles, Dr. Lian is dedicated to advancing the understanding of skin disease through the integration of diagnostic pathology, molecular biology, and translational research.

Dr. Lian's research focuses on elucidating the molecular pathogenesis of skin disorders, with particular emphasis on identifying the cellular and epigenetic mechanisms that drive disease development and progression. By combining state-of-the-art molecular techniques with detailed histopathologic analysis, her work has provided important insights into disease mechanisms and contributed to improved diagnostic accuracy, biomarker discovery, and the development of precision medicine approaches for patients with dermatologic diseases.
