She examined and made BRILLIANT guess of shingles outbreak in nerves inside his head due to a dental implant 4 days previous! Started him on Prednisone, AntiViral, Gabapentin Rx. He was so much better by follow up visit. Dr Young is smart ! and we'd be glad to have her as our primary someday.

My appointment started on time. I am satisfied with how much time I was able to spend with my Doctor. She ordered some lab tests, and I was able to have them done on my way out, it only took about 15 minutes. Overall it took less time than I expected and I was able to get to another appointment with plenty of time to spare. I'm very satisfied.

Dr. Young is an excellent listener and processes all information that is shared with her. As for diagnostics she seems weak sometimes when she does not clearly give more confident guidance on next steps. I don't think this is from a lack of experience, but rather a desire to not seem too aggressive or directive out of deference to the patient. In other words, I would appreciate her more firm opinion with clear options for followup.

Yes, since I am almost 74 years old, I don't think I have ever experienced the care that this doctor gives me and the understanding that she works with me on to make sure that she understands exactly how I feel and where I want to go with any kind of medical work that we plan to do.
