Dr. Ruff was a good listener, he understood my medical issues and provided practical guidance on how to manage my heart disease. I was grateful for his discussion of ablation therapy as well as his assessment of the use of eliquis verses watchman procedure in managing AF. I was also encouraged to stay compliant with my diet and exercise regime as he explained the benefits of reducing my risk of plaque formation by medication, diet and exercise.

Dr. Ruff has been my Cardiologist since 2011 when I had a sudden heart attack. In 2021 he ordered a specific echocardiography that included part pet scan. [redacted] I am alive today, 4 1/2 years later with a grim diagnosis thanks to Dr. Ruff's decision to do this specialized test to evaluate my heart. He responds to messages and calls promptly and allays my fears. He is highly intelligent and very thorough with his exams and any tests he requests. A brilliant cardiologist who I am very fortunate to have caring for me.

Dr Ruff knew my case well since this was the first time I saw him. He listened to my concerns and put me at ease about my health. Dr Ruff is compassionate and understanding. He is a wonderful physician.

I had a good experience with the overall exam itself and the providers. The only problem that I had was when I was making the appointment, it was hard to hear the person booking the appointment, no matter how high the volume was on my phone.

The entire team at the cardiovascular clinic is friendly and efficient. Patients are promptly checked-in a welcoming atmosphere. Dr. Ruff has a great bedside manner and listened attentively, and answered all my questions. I genuinely felt heard and cared for during my visit. BWH is fortunate to have such a knowledgeable, compassionate, and empathic doctor on its staff.
