Dr. Sampson was excellent. He explained my options and the procedure very well. The office was very timely in setting up an appointment for me, kept in touch with me, were very, very outgoing and welcoming in the office. And the procedure went exactly how I had been told it would, and it was a success. So it was an overall very good experience.

Dr. Sampson always has and continues to exceed my expectations for a medical professional. Unlike many others he is always prompt, spends enough time to answer all my questions and thoroughly explains every step he is taking with my treatment and any procedures.

I was surprised that I wasn't asked if I had any questions. I was also surprised that I wasn't given any recommendations about whether I could continue current activities, or whether I should wear a brace or not. I had to ask (wasn't told) what would happen if the test results were positive (surgery).

Dr. Sampson is remarkable. He also offered that I could speak with him remotely if I had a question as my post-amputation neuroma evolved. This was a precious added kindness because of the time and difficulty to get to Brigham's.

When the local providers in New Bedford worked on me from October till April and couldn't figure out what was going on. The people at Brigham's figured out what was going on and had a three doctor team on top of it and I am now mending from the procedure that will put me back out in the public again

Had a great first visit overall with Dr. Sampson. Efficient, pleasant, and helpful. He was extremely kind, seemed very interested in my problem, and I got diagnostic imaging and a steroid injection on the first visit. The only thing that could have been better would have been more discussion of what might have been causing my symptoms. There was mention of one diagnosis sort of indirectly, that I then went home and read about. But almost no discussion of: these are the main possibilities, here's how we're going to figure out out, and here are some possible treatment plans we may get to. Still, I got a 4 week follow up visit which is great, so that info may come at the next visit.
