Charissa Pettyjohn, MD attended Saint Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, graduating summa cum laude with degrees in psychology and chemistry in 2001. She then attended The Medical College of Wisconsin and received her medical degree in 2005.
Dr. Pettyjohn completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tufts University School of Medicine. She then joined [us at-remove] Commonwealth OB-GYN. She has been on the faculty of Harvard Medical School since that time, while maintaining her practice in Obstetrics and Gynecology affiliated with the Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Dr. Pettyjohn is board-certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Pettyjohn enjoys building relationships with patients and seeing them at all stages of life. Her particular clinical interests include adolescent gynecology, contraception/family planning, and pregnancy.
