Dr. Mudgal has been great. In earlier sessions with him, he's explained to me in detail the nature of the CMC surgery I had on my thumb. The surgery went exactly as we expected and I'm into recovery and think that I'm going to recover just fine. So I am very, very happy with Dr. Mudgal and I would recommend him and his staff to anyone who has hand or wrist issues that they need addressed.

I can have an appointment in a timely manner and I got MRI appointment on the same day. MRI machine generate pulses on my hand to prepare picture that causes more pain after the operation and it was so noisy and laud. My ear plug fell down from my ear and I could not do anything. something like earphone works better.

Dr Mudgal answered all my questions, was honest in his opinion that it's too early to get surgery for my condition, patiently explained pros and cons and what to expect after surgery. He also pointed out a different but related condition that he thought was more concerning and promptly referred me to a specialist. He showed empathy and was very friendly.

I saw his PA most of the time and the provider for 3 min. The PA was very kind and seems to know, but as patient you are expecting to see the MD who you made the appointment with, not feeling in a rush trying to say all your symptoms in 2 mins.

Big difference between people associated with Doc and those who are receptionists, schedulers, etc. If associated with Dic then very good. If working in office area then attitude diminishes significantly

Dr. Mudgal is thorough and professional but mostly caring. I feel very fortunate that I am his patient. The Fellow that examined me before I saw Dr. Mudgal had the same traits - an excellent "bed side manner."

Dr. Mudgal is an excellent Physician, caring and attentive. I especially like that he has residents that he trains.

Dr. Mudgal is a very kind and smart doctor. The only thing I would have liked to have done differently is the following - his Fellow gave me the cortisone injection and i wish Dr. Mudgal had given it to me. The finger is still painful and two new nodules have developed on the tendon that was injected and they can be very painful. I'm giving this another week and then I will call the doctor's office to let him know what has happened.

The physician seemed to be in a hurry, did not have past events correctly placed on the timeline, unexpectedly deviated from routine cast maintenance done for the last two months without much of a reason, and did not give a lot of hope for any improvement once the final cast period is done. Not sure what to think about it.
