Provider is very knowledgeable with conventional medicine and thorough with recommendations, I would have appreciated if she had any information on non conventional/ alternative medication especially with all the new research and discoveries. I was very happy that she was doing testing because I have been doing my own trials with the Libre 3 and things did not make sense with carbs sugars and even using sugar free foods (chemicals). I am feeling that I need to look at alternative s going forward.

When I checked in upstairs the receptionist gave me a very hard time for not checking in downstairs. She rudely told me it's been that way for over 3 years now (which that is NOT what I have found to be true.) But then proceeded to tell me she could check me in. The very first time I came to that building 4 years ago I stopped in downstairs and they quickly told me to check in upstairs. From then on I have always gone directly upstairs to check in. Her customer service skills are lacking. Luckily I was able to check out with a different receptionist who was extremely nice and helpful. So now at my next appointment I will try to check in downstairs so I don't get yelled at and have my "hand slapped". There was no reason for her attitude.

Dr. H was lovely, thoughtful and took the time I needed to fully understand what was happening to me and the steps alleviate the issue.

Dr. Hegerty is someone who takes the time to listen, spends the time with you, understands what you're saying, and I appreciate all the efforts and things that she does to put my care as a priority. Definitely, definitely an A plus for me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hergarty for several years and happy she is now a part of Mass General Brigham at Cooley Dickinson

Dr. Hegarty took a good amount of time trying to understand my medical history and also she took time to explain my current concerns with my bone density which I appreciated very much. She did a brief physical assessment and she ordered some lab work and also a urine sample to get a better understanding of what she needs to consider in order to help determine what is needed to help me. [redacted] I have only had one appointment with Dr. Hegarty so far and I plan to continue to work with her so I can make the necessary changes to help with my bone density. There was a lot of information to take in and she said that if I needed to speak with her again with questions or concerns, she would schedule another appointment which is very helpful and important.

As a first time visit from a referral, Dr. Hegarty took the time to explain the use of Prolia to me and the effects of my decision to stop taking it. She is a professional who is detailed oriented and her demeaner was very calming and assuring. I feel fortunate that I was able to talk to her - she ACTUALLY listens and responds at a layman's level you can understand! Thank you.

Yeah, I saw Dr. Hegarty and it was really a great experience. She got me in within two weeks. She took her time. I think I probably spent like 45 minutes with her. And it was just really a pleasure. I was really happy to get the appointment and to have her explain everything to me. And I also did see a nurse. I don't know, I think I clicked the wrong button, but I did see a nurse when I visited, but it was a wonderful experience. And Dr. Hegarty is a very good doctor.
