Catherine Gonzalez, MD serves as a dual boarded (Geriatric and Adult) staff psychiatrist in the Brigham and Women’s Outpatient Psychiatry (BWH) clinic at 221 Longwood and is an Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Before this position, Dr. Gonzalez graduated from the University of Puerto Rico Medical School and trained in Adult Psychiatry at the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Program (BWH/BIDMC/MMHC). Dr. Gonzalez completed fellowships in Schizophrenia and Psychotic Disorders at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Geriatric Psychiatry at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA). She is committed to education, teaching HMS student in Geriatric Psychiatry as well as BWH psychiatry residents in their outpatient Psychiatry rotations. She runs the Geriatric Psychiatry outpatient clinic at BWH, seeing older adults with a variety of mental health concerns.
