Dr Norman is a wonderful, thorough doctor. Very easy and comfortable to communicate with her.

First time visit with this provider, who took plenty of time, including showing images of my situation, to give me a good understanding of both my situation and steps to be taken. Very pleased with his first visit, and I will be interested to see the results of the tests that were ordered for me to take.

I saw Dr, Catalina Norman for the first time and I was not disappointed with my visit with her. She was professional, compassionate, courteous, respectful and kind. I felt comfortable in her presence. I came with questions and she answered my questions with clarity. I met Dr. Norman a little less than a year ago, and I've had two appointments with her and her office team. I found her to be incredibly well-informed, very focused, active listener, good conversationalist. She explains things extremely well. She was very engaged, not only as a physician, but as a person. And the whole team around her seems very upbeat and positive. It is a very, very comfortable office to visit, and I feel as though I'm being taken very good care of by Dr. Norman and her team.

She is very thorough and warm. She did explain things in great detail. While, in the end, we did not agree on the course I should take to deal with my issue, I did and do, actually like her. I would have liked if she was more open to hearing from me about how I wanted to deal with this issue. I kept saying that I do my research and that I would need to do research on what she was presenting to me, as my only option. As an alternative health care provider, I am aware that my opinions on how I want to deal with my health issues are different from many mainstream medical doctors. But I did appreciate the time she spent with me and the knowledge she shared about my condition. Also, I was pleased with all the testing she ordered for me.

I think after my bad experience with the Reclast Infusion last year - Dr. Norman finally got it that I am very sensitive to medications and usually get the rare side effects. She very much apologized for not listening more carefully and seemed to really understand where I was coming from. We are formulating a plan to deal with my minor osterperosis that I believe may be satifactory to both of us. She's just great!

[redacted] With a history of cancer in my family with stomach and lung cancer, breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, I'm very concerned about my situation. I needed a bone density test before my appointment with Dr Norman. It took me over a year to get it, which wasn't good enough for my appointment. (That bone density test would almost alone dictate which decisions would be made about my treatment.) But I had to wait for a cancellation to get in for the test. Then there was an error made when that appointment was made. However, people finally got me in so the test was done on time. That test took a maximum of five minutes. Dr Norman & I were opining why the wait was so long. I had asked the technicians at my test appointment, and they said the long wait was because they "only had one room" to perform the test in. That made no sense, but if it is true, could you please find more space for bone density testing? It is a crucial variable in treating someone like me-and many other women for issues related to osteoporosis. Thank you.

The provider would not listen to my questions and requests for guidance on how to walk through how I can learn more myself about some of the questions I had. Instead the provider kept saying, I am your friend, but wasn't answering my question. We wasted time going through the basics that I had as questions. Once we got through them, she was very responsive and at least listened and tried to go forward. But we wasted a lot of time in the beginning with her dismissals of what my questions were.

The doctor was very thorough in explaining my condition and possible options available.
