Doctor Fernandez-Del Castillo immediately put me at ease with his charm and sense of humor. He exhibited great patience and explained a very complicated and ambiguous medical situation in calming, easy to digest layman's terms constantly making sure to answer questions my wife and I had, never making us feel rushed. He was also quick to share his contact information via a card and asked us to contact him directly with any concerns or questions that may arise after the visit.

Mass General is a class act. So impressed with the courtesy and kindness of everyone from the moment I walked in the door. A world of difference from Georgetown, where they are absolutely terrible! How do you do it? You should bottle and sell it. Kudos to you.

Yes, I just don't know what the follow-up should be. I've been on this medicine. I don't know if it's working or not working yet. Of course, it might take some time, but I stayed on the medicine. I stopped taking the Linsest. It seemed to be nobody knew that they had a bad interaction with each other, or maybe you want me to be on both of them. I don't know. I'm kind of confused, but I don't know what the follow-up is after this visit from the doctor's office. Thank you very much.

It is perfectly obvious that Dr. Fernandez is at the top of his profession, period. He was dissatisfied or not sure about the radiology report and asked to reschedule the meeting so that he could speak with the radiologist report. The meeting we had at the end of that day, virtual, was basically there to put my heart at ease. He did that. He is a fine doctor.

I felt like when I went in, all of my records had been reviewed, all of my imaging had been reviewed, and when the doctor came in to me, he was able to make a decision on my care going forward based on careful scrutiny of my records, which I was very happy about, period. I can't comment on overall satisfaction at this point because I only had one visit with him and I will be dealing with him after I've had an endoscopic ultrasound done so I can give better feedback then, but overall I was happy with his care at this point.
