About Brittney J Mazza

Dr. Brittney Mazza is a full-time optometrist in the Optometry and Contact Lens Service, specializing in fitting and managing patients who wear contact lenses, including several specialty design lenses for corneal disease/ectasia, post-surgery, aphakia, trauma, and pediatrics. She has experience working with rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses for regular and irregular corneas, soft contact lenses, including toric and multifocal designs, and hybrid and scleral lenses.

In 2010, Dr. Mazza was awarded the Vistakon Award of Excellence in Contact Lenses.

Dr. Mazza supervises and teaches phthalmology and optometric residents. She also lectures to ophthalmology residents regarding contact lens-related topics. Dr. Mazza has been a member of several professional organizations, including the American Optometric Association and the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists. She is currently a clinical adjunct professor at the New England College of Optometry. Dr. Mazza also enjoys volunteering on behalf of Mass Eye and Ear throughout the year.
