I was impressed by Dr. Smerkers. He listened and didn't interrupt, he respected my knowledge of my own body and experience and was open to discussing care options, and he spent the time needed to get to know me as a new patient. Given the revolving door of PCPs I have experienced in the past year, I am afraid to get my hopes up that someone this good will stay!

It was a very pleasant experience. After being bounced from one primary care provider to another following the departure of my PCP of over 20 years from the Beacon Hill practice, I had significant difficulty finding a new provider. I'm grateful to have eventually been transferred to the Assembly Row practice and assigned to Dr. Smerkers. I couldn't be happier with his kindness, attentiveness, and expertise. The location is also very convenient to access.

The care provider was excellent. He was attentive, listened carefully, was familiar with my medical record, and made some interesting observations and recommendations. I felt very, very comfortable, and I'm very pleased with his interaction with me during my appointment.

I was treated with amazing respect and care; this provider is a great listener and answered all my questions one by one supported with examples and latest medical information, he ordered me all necessary test and checkups then he referred me to specialty care as well, the clinic is super clean and very safe environments to relax until you see your nurse or doctor, the medical staffs and team are very friendly and welcoming patients and their family too.

This was my first encounter with Dr. Smerkers. He was very personable and professional. We discussed family medical hx as well as personal medical hx. Dr. Smerkers asked about general home life and daily activity and fitness routine. We discussed current medications. After having a wonderful PCP leave her practice I was a bit concerned about starting with a new PCP. Dr. Smerkers quickly put me at ease.

The nurse needs to be more professional and listen to patients. Her overall behavior is disrespectful. She also didn't complete her duties that included measuring my height as a part of my annual physical exam.
