A somewhat unique and potentially bizarre experience in the assessment and abatement of chronic and severe pain. Great care taken in all explanations to fully update the patient before, during, and after all procedures. Patient was fully involved in decision-making process as treatment progressed over an approximate period of one year. Provider's team worked together and fully involved.

Dr. Wainger was very compassionate and understanding about my particular complex medical condition and was very thoughtful in how he helped me understand what my options were as well as setting realistic expectations for my outcome and recovery, which alleviated a lot of anxiety and stress fear around what as a patient I could or might not be doing to help improve the best possible outcome I was seeking. And I really appreciated that as well as the physical expertise and my medical condition he offered. He was also emotionally supportive.

I can take time to speak slowly. I am always confused by something. He does not give lectures. He asks for my input and he always converses with me to help me figure out details.
