Dr. Bryan Surjanhata was the best I could have asked for. He was gracious and listened about my concerns.

I met with 2 providers whom work together. My experience with each was very positive. They listened and provided information and their thoughts. I could not have asked for a better outcome for this appt.

I was quite impressed with Dr. Surjanhata's level of preparation, his ability to listen with compassion and understanding, his knowledge of NBD (especially for MS patients), his ability to communicate effectively, and his overall positive energy. I came away from our meeting satisfied and hopeful.

Dr. Surjanhata is amazing. He was so down to earth. His bedside manner is incredible. He gave me as much time as I needed to understand my health issue and come up with a plan to help me.

This is the first doctor I have seen in years with my gastro symptoms that listens and really seems to figure out what is going on with me and takes the time in the office versus making me feel rushed.

This Dr is wonderful! He listened and explained, reviewed my previous testing and discussed possible treatments. He presented not just one plan, but plan a,b and c. I feel hopeful! I had to wait a long time for this appt, but I finally found the right Dr!

Dr. Surjanhata was very much aware of my past visits with him, past history, and the medications that I was on. And most importantly, he made me a part of the decision making and listened. So it was a great patient-doctor interaction. One, like I said, I was part of decision-making and wanted to make sure that I was comfortable in the next direction of my treatment.

The doctor was very friendly, knowledgeable, and really explained things so I could understand. I had the issues going on for many years, and I felt really good after the appointment. And I guess we'll try the medication and hope that everything else that he suggested will work as well. He explained it in a way that was easy to understand what possibly is going on.

He spent a great deal of time with me and I was really impressed that he didn't rush me out the door.

Great doctor!

Yes, Brian was maybe one of the best doctors I've seen, usually the very best gastroentinologist I've ever seen. He was really, really thoughtful, but really insightful. You could tell how smart Brian is and how much he actually understands. I've had stomach issues for a really long time, seen lots of specialists, tried everything, and he's the first one to really applied science to, oh no. He applied science to his diagnosis and just really outstanding.

Very grateful that I was able to get this appointment with Dr S. His demeanor is great and his understanding of what seems to be happening is very much welcomed. Drawings and discussions of my condition made sense and helped me to feel less hopeless.

Dr. Surjanhata told me more than any other doctor I have seen in the last 2 years. Helped me understand why I was in pain and why my stomach wasn't working properly. I would recommend him to anyone with GI and bowel issues. Listened when I spoke, did not judge me, and didn't make remarks about my weight. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dr Surjanhata is THE BEST, along with his PA. He solved a year long problem I was having when my local GI just had me doing lots of colonoscopy cleavers & I had lost 15lbs & was still constipated. His plan worked m & I am able to go to the bathroom & am at a normal weight.. I thanked him profusely & he had a grin to grin smile & said this is why he does what he does. One of the best Drs I have ever seen!

This provider is very pleasant, easy to talk to, listens well, asks questions and explains things very well in terms I can understand. Works with me to create a future plan of action.

Took my concerns seriously

The doctor was fantastic. He took his time in assessing my situation and ordered additional testing to validate his diagnosis. From my first scheduling experience with Janet and the office visit with the doctor it was superlative experience. He is a great doctor who both effectively communicates and is very respectful of the patient.

Just the fax team is terrible, nothing gets through. Once its there everything is fine, but to get there is hard

Dr. Surjanhata was very attentive, kind, respectful, listened to my questions and thoroughly explained my condition, testing and treatment options. He had already reviewed my medical records and was very knowledgeable. He took his time and made sure I had every opportunity to ask questions and discuss my concerns. I appreciate Dr. Surjanhata and the time he spent with me. Unfortunately there are not enough motility GI doctors to really provide care because there aren't enough that are in, I guess, the office. They let me, if you need help, a nurse will call you or a nurse practitioner, but it's very difficult to get an appointment. And the appointment I got with him after my first appointment was seven months later. This time it'll be four months later, but I'll be seeing the nurse practitioner. So that's the criticism I have, that there are not enough doctors to provide services.
