Dr. Merchant listened to everything I had to say, went over what the hospital had written down when I had gone there by ambulance. He listened very intently to my concerns and gave me suggestions along with a prescription. I can't ask for anything more than that. It was a very good experience with the doctor.

I was very impressed that Dr. Merchant explained the physiological changes that happen in the cardiovascular system during pregnancy and exactly how that could be impacting my symptoms. He respected that I could and should know about how my body works in this stage. I was very reassured that he understood my circumstances. He also was extremely punctual, not rushed, and was comprehensive.

Dr. Merchant is a wonderful doctor, he lowered my Statin prescription and put in for an ultrasound on the blood flow in my legs.

I was in Healthcare, so I realize dealing with patients can be grueling. I am sure Dr Mechant is competent and highly skilled, but I felt the appt was frustrating and didn't feel comfortable asking questions or telling him anything. [redacted]. I realize because of my education/history, I am pickier than most, but I want to be on the same wavelength as a doc, not annoyed and uncomfortable, dreading another interaction.

It was just very rushed. I actually don't even know why I bothered coming in. I wasn't really listened to about my questions about blood pressure and cholesterol and saw the doctor for five minutes and we were done. And I don't know if I'm just too healthy to bother coming in to see a cardiologist, but I really wonder what the point of me even coming here was.

Dr. Merchant explained all the aspects of atririal fibrillation in a way that I could understand. He also told me that if I was in afib what feelings would require me to seek immediate medical help. Asked me to keep a record of blood pressure and maximum heart speed. I was very comfortable with him as my cardiologist.

I transferred to this provider from N E Baptist for the pain blocking shots to my back. I have never regretted this move. At this office a real person answers the phone, and is always helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. With Baptist, no one answers the phone, its difficult to get a call back and they kept getting requests for approvals denied by CMS. This provider always gets approvals and provides quick care. They are great.
