I think that she was very prepared. She had reviewed my chart. So she knew what I needed to know. And that was very helpful. I liked her manner. She had really good bedside manner. And she answered all my questions. So that's fine.

I was referred to the Infectious Disease Practice by my urologist because I have had a UTI for the past year that has not responded to traditional methods of treatment. Instead of formulating a plan of treatment, Dr. Hearn suggested I return to the urology practice from which I was referred, to continue treatment there. She offered no insight into any form of treatment that might help to cure my painful symptoms. I found this to be dismissive of my reason for being there.

The provider explained all the aspects of my Lyme disease. She was pleasant, she listened, and I felt so much better after I spoke with her after her explanation.

    helpful and understanding

I was really impressed that the doctor knew my history prior to the appointment and was able to focus on fine-tuning that information for that relevant to my medical condition. She took time explaining what was going on with the fungus, risks and next possible steps so that I was able to make an informed decision. I walked out with a clear plan and knew that the Doctor would continue to monitor and work with a podiatrist to jointly help get to a solution. I was also impressed that the doctor had researched my condition - it is unique to have this fungus on this part of my body - and while there wasn't much information, I appreciated that she took time ahead of our meeting to learn what information there was.
