Dr. Rome is an Associate Physician in the Division of General Internal Medicine & Primary Care and a faculty member of the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics. As a primary care physician at the Phyllis Jen Center, Dr. Rome is committed to providing patient-centered and evidenced-based care, including prevention and chronic disease management. In addition to seeing patients, he spends time researching prescription drug prices, including how out-of-pocket costs affect patient medication adherence. Dr. Rome grew up outside Burlington, Vermont, and completed an undergraduate degree in Community Health at Brown University. He attended Harvard Medical School, completed his internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and earned an MPH in Clinical Effectiveness from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
