Yes, this provider was superior to many of the doctors I've seen. He saw me right away. He explained things in a clear and concise fashion. He basically gave me excellent information and he was a humanitarian, a very caring person, and he was overall a 10.

I appreciated being able to get a timely appointment, and that Dr. Stump offered to help with scheduling the follow-up procedures if needed (luckily I did not need help and everything was scheduled expeditiously). The only thing that was concerning was that the follow-up appointment was scheduled for 6 weeks out. Given that I came in for shortness of breath, the prospect of having trouble breathing for another six weeks was not particularly welcome. I didn't think to ask whether someone would follow up with me on my test results before my next appointment, as I just had the thoracentesis that Dr. Stump ordered, and my echo is scheduled for about a month before my follow-up appointment. I assume my oncologist will follow up with me about the thoracentesis labs/pathology, though.

Very knowledgeable about my condition, Was not able to explain the reason for my dyspnea. Offered an invasive pulmonary stress test but felt it would not lead to an answer that would be Treatable. Did offer some suggestions for managing my dyspnea He seemed genuinely sorry he could not offer a definitive answer for my dyspnea.
