It was my first visit with this provider so I didn't know what to expect. He was very pleasant and let me decide when to have my knee replaced

I didn't see a nurse medical assistant took care of me

This provider showed no care for my level of concern over my injury and what was possibly wrong. He showed no concern for my level of discomfort and pain. This provider told me he'd "follow up in a few weeks" as he walked out the door as if he had already checked me off his schedule. [redacted]

The doctor provided a thorough examination and determined that physical therapy was required to resolve the issue. I immediately contacted a clinic and will be starting PT this week.

I waited 25 minutes after the nurse took my vitals till the doctor came in. He suggested I do home exercises but forgot to bring them in. The nurse came in to change up room where I was waiting for prints of exercises. She brought them in right away. The doctor was very nice.

He explained all I great detail explained the xray pictures because I has told him had read it and explained it to me

I was seen quickly when I called for an initial appointment. Tests were ordered - I contacted the office to see what the next step was and was given another appointment to review the test results. Dr Bickley listened to me to see what my reaction was and agreed with my decision to meet with a surgeon who would handle the knee revision.

Answers my questions and explains the orthopedic issues

It was an initial check of my lower back pain area. We talked a bit and he checked my flexibility and where it hurts MRI is scheduled

I get that Dr Bickley was running behind schedule, but he wanted to spend maybe two minutes in the room with me. I'm dealing with a long-term issue that I was bringing up with MGB for the first time and hoping to start making a plan to address and mitigate the main issue and the things that seem to be downstream of it for the long term. Dr Bickley really just wanted to tell me to stop doing things that hurt, which isn't very helpful. My goal is to avoid being unable to exercise and becoming increasingly unhealthy in the long term. I had to specifically request to even get physical therapy, which I'm hoping will be more helpful. Dr Bickley showed no interest in hearing or thinking about the long-running pain/injury issues that I believe are downstream from the main problem here, and my desire to seek understanding of my injury and how to avoid further long-term problems while maximizing quality of life. [redacted] I didn't need to visit the office to know that an injury I suffered has caused permanent damage, my body's been telling me that for a long time. I wanted to get help/information on how to move forward and avoid causing more significant long-term damage to myself. I didn't get that from Dr Bickley beyond the non-useful advice that I shouldn't do things that hurt a lot.

Dr. Bickley was straightforward which I appreciated. He laid out a plan as to how he thought it best to proceed with any care I might need which I also appreciated. He let me know that if I feel I have not improved within a reasonable amount of time, to let him know. All these things were good to hear. He also ordered some blood work to see about possible diagnoses in case something had been missed. He is thorough.

Dr. Bickley has provided orthopedic care to me for the l ast 10 years. He replaced both my hips and now is providing care with regard to my knee. He is a top notch doctor and I feel fortunate to have his professional care.

He goes above and beyond, I went in for my knee's with a boot for a fracture on my right LEG and a big shoe and ankle brace on my left foot. He took the time to ask what they were all about. Spent another hour of his time to look up my xrays and then send me down for more. When he looked at the X-rays. I was so surprised when he came back in the room and told me I don't need the boot or the shoe or ankle brace. What a relief. THANK YOU

It was a good experience

Dr. Bickley is one of my favorite doctors. I've been seeing him now for several years, and I would not go to anyone else but him. He's just so compassionate and believable, and I trust him completely. He's a wonderful, wonderful doctor. He takes care of me whenever I have a problem, and as I said, I would not even be comfortable with anyone else.

I like this office because at least if you have any questions, they're very, the managers are very nice and they talk to you finally. And they pay attention. The doctor is a very good doctor. I recommend it. He is very, through what he listens to you, he's very through what he knows and everything. And he tells you any questions and like, any questions you have, he'll answer to you.
