Diffucult to get appt pushed up earlier when I was having an issue.

This was my first visit with Mass Eye and Ear. As well as my first visit with Dr. Meeker. He was open and honest with me in explaining my medical situation with my eye. I appreciated that honesty tremendously. With the different problems I have gone through with my eye with the other doctors here in Connecticut, I wish I had thought of coming to Mass Eye and Ear six years ago.

Really nothing ! I answered them in the question I answered!

This provider seemed quite knowledgeable for his field. I don't feel as though I had enough explanation of my issues. What causes it , how it could be helped or treated. I feel as though I had an eye exam, and there was no interest in really helping me solve my issues. I was finally referred to a retina specialist.

His explanation was clear and brief and I left feeling more confident about my situation

Dr Meeker is on time..professional..knowledgeable about eye, about me..willing to listen as I update him on my multiple myeloma journey. Dr Meeker is also open to trying an idea that I suggested which makes me feel heard.

The first time I met with Dr. Meeker, he was very informative and cordial this time. I felt he was a little more laid-back and did not offer much conversation about my problem. I know my age has a big factor in how doctors react. some of the questions an elderly person may ask younger doctors do not show the patience. They should show when delaying with elderly people.

Dr. Meeker gave me an extensive eye exam, took his time and was very thorough.

I thought everybody was very, very nice. The only thing that bothered me was the new medication that he was going to put me on. I didn't know anything about it and he didn't explain what it was going to do for me. That's about all. Everybody else was just wonderful. The doctor was very nice. Just that one thing completely bothered me, but I was very nervous and when I left I realized, you know, I didn't get that in because he was hurrying to finish and to leave the room. And that is all.
