Ashley Parker, MD, is an obstetrician/gynecologist who practices at both the Waltham office and the main Massachusetts General Hospital campus in Boston. She trained at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and worked in the Philadelphia area for 4 years prior to joining Mass General.
Dr. Parker views her role as not only a clinician, but also an educator and advocate for her patients. She strongly believes that interacting with patients in a respectful and attentive manner facilitates complete and quality patient care, and builds trust between the patient and provider.
She’s passionate about promoting health equity and ensuring that underserved communities have access to adequate care. Dr. Parker finds that her role as a clinician has allowed her to bridge gaps with patients who have otherwise experienced trauma within the healthcare system. Creating an environment of trust and understanding can change outcomes. She notes that building strong relationships with her patients has been one of the most rewarding experiences as a physician.
In her personal time, she enjoys the culinary arts, fitness, and the performing arts.

Ashley Parker is, or Dr. Ashley Parker, I think is a tremendous gynecologist. I think she makes everything feel very comfortable and I feel very comfortable sharing things with her and telling her things. She makes, you know, gynecology can be, I don't know, there's like some scary stuff and sometimes it's a little bit uncomfortable and I think she makes the whole process very comfortable and safe and easy and I really appreciate her candor and the rapport that she builds with her patients.

Dr. Parker was absolutely fabulous. She is professional. She was on time. She is very friendly. She is good at explaining everything and giving detail. She is open for good questions and conversations. I would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Parker is the most patient and informative provider I have ever seen. I have really bad medical anxiety and she talks through everything so calmly and makes me feel comfortable and informed and she takes her time. I never feel rushed. I never feel like she's blowing off my concerns. I cannot recommend her enough. Actually, I tell all of my friends to go to her because she is such an amazing provider and if she moved to California, I would follow her.

Wonderful, caring and attentive provider. Unfortunately and not so within the Providers control, that particular day she had two patients who did not have appointments, that she needed to see for emergent issues. This pushed my appointment back one hour. Unfortunately people should decide to go to the ER, but instead decide to go to their physician office without an appointment.
