I found out in my visit that I'm 40 pounds more than I wanted and I would like to get some help with that. Someone who's in a related field, I guess, would have to help me with that.

Dr Rosenstock is a knowledgeable and caring medical oncologist. He provides important information about the rationale for treatments and gives encouraging support. In addition he always ends the visit with a reminder to call with any question or concern. My only concern with my visit to the cancer center is that here was no scheduler to set up my next visit. In the past, I have always left with my next appointments on my calendar. I have not yet heard from anyone about possible dates for this important follow - up.

Assuming a care provider is a doctor, I only saw her once on a zoom call before my first appointment. I had several appointments after that and didn't see her even once. I only saw nurses and I was very disappointed in not seeing the doctor at all. The nurses seemed knowledgeable, but I would really liked to have see the doctor. I asked once where the doctor was and was told that she isn't here today. If that is the usually routine I would like to have known when she was there. When I made my first appointment I was told the appointment was with the doctor, but I never saw her that time, or at any of the following appointments. I'm not happy with this.

Dr. Rosenstock read my PET scan and shared the results with me. It was a positive experience. The doctor is carefully monitoring my progress.

Dr. Rosenstock is confident and clearly competent. He really knows the relevant research about the cancer treatments he recommends. And I feel very comfortable with the treatment plan we discussed. There were times during the visit when I think he could have listened more carefully to my concerns, and attended to them better in his responses. Instead I felt he sometimes dismissed my questions as unnecessary. I know he sees many cancer cases just like me. But I wanted to feel more seen as a person, not just as a cancer case.
