This is a new PCP for me, and only my second visit with her. She showed a good knowledge of my medical history considering how new our relationship is.

My appointment with Dr. Kavanagh was based on my request for an in-office visit to have someone listen to my lungs, as I was not feeling 'myself' and wanted to be sure I did not require further care after completing a prescription for zpack (ordered as a result of my reaching out to the MGH virtual urgent care team). Dr. Kavanagh was very thorough. The chest xray she ordered confirmed my lungs were ok. She advised that I should follow up if symptoms don't improve.

The nurse was very caring and helpful - I regret that I don't remember her name. ? Dr Kavanagh is excellent. She asked me if I had any extra questions, which was much appreciated. Next time I'll come with a list!!

Dr. Kavanagh is an excellent doctor who took time to go through my issues and concerns. This was my first visit with her as she was my new PCP. She took her time and explained the situation, process and benefits and non benefits of the medication, tests etc. She was very thorough with her assessment. I am so glad to have her as my PCP!

TIMELY RESPONSE; HELPFUL ADVICE

The doctor discussed me the options for treatment of my elevated blood pressure and listened to my preferences. Love the office. I have been used it for 20 years and the front staff and medical assistants have always been helpful and kind. Would recommend the practice.

This was not my Uncle's normal provider, but she was wonderful. She took the time to understand the issue and was patient and kind in talking to him.

I appreciated how quickly I was able to lock in an appointment with Dr. K, and I appreciated the time she spent explaining the issues that we had agreed to talk about concerning my health and my recovery from a transplant surgery last year. I also appreciated the knowledge that she had about the medications and the prescription for my and timeline for my recovery going forward. Fabulous care

My appointment was a meet and greet in order to ascertain whether this was the practice I wanted to join. After my time with Dr. Kavanagh , I was completely certain this was the practice I wanted. I am thrilled to be able to be apart of this practice and know that Dr. Kavanagh and I will be a perfect match.

She spent a lot of time going over all aspects of my care, including a thorough review of my vaccines, medications and other health care items. She was patient, very supportive and helpful in answering all my questions and concerns regarding pre diabetes and A1C levels.

Dr. April Kavanagh is a great addition to MG W. It was my first appointment and I thought she is an excellent physician.

So I was very nervous at first about having a new provider after being with one provider for over eight years at a different Mass General practice in the Boston area. So I was honestly just bumped to Dr. April Kavanagh without a choice coming from the Beacon Hill primary care practice. But I am glad because it seems like she is a great match for me. And not only was I able to book a new meet the doctor's visit within a timely manner, and the receptionist that I spoke to when I walked in to book coming from another appointment, they were so nice. I also ended up having an emergency surgery in that interim between when I booked my established care visit and the actual visit coming up. So totally ended up having to review things.

[redacted] I am more than pleased with Dr. Kavanagh [redacted]. She has, and I have got to know each other, and I am extremely grateful that she is my doctor.

Is thorough, but talks very fast, making it a bit hard to absorb all the info. Also, this is the first provider who did not have me change into a gown for my physical. The only "physical " aspect of the exam was listening to my heart and lungs with a stethoscope. But maybe this is ok, as she spent a good deal of time discussing my health care with me.
