About Andrew J Cole

Dr. Cole is a neurologist and epileptologist  who founded the MGH Epilepsy Program in 1992 and served as the Chief of Epilepsy until 2024 when he passed the role on to his colleague Dr. Syd Cash. He remains heavily involved in the leadership of the Epilespy Service and continues to see patients weekly. Dr. Cole has a special interest in Epilepsy Surgery, Epilepsy Neuroimaging, and the design of novel drug studies to bring new agents through approval and clinical uptake.
