Dr Freiberg is an excellent and skilled communicator. He instills confidence in his patients and is caring and honest.

I mistakingly cancelled the appointment instead of confirming and he graciously saw me anyway.

I was very pleased with my doctor. I got the x-ray done immediately. I didn't have to wait in x-ray. They were very nice there and kind. And the nurses and receptionists at the doctor's office were very, very good. And I just think Dr. Freiberg is a lovely man. And I'm sure he's a good surgeon because he did my right knee and I had no pain. And the rehab worked out fine. And I was on my feet and out the door in two weeks with no problems. That's why I want him to do my hip. I'm glad. I'm glad I have him. Thank you.

Dr. Frieberg was friendly enough, listened and answered some of my questions. He didn't seem interested in addressing my problems with the replaced knee which is still painful two years after surgery. [redacted] When I continued to question the procedures he'd use for a new knee, he said he didn't have time to explain what he does. The meeting started out OK but I felt it didn't end on a good note. I was sorry about this as my surgeon, Dr. [redacted] recommended Dr. Frieberg.

I wasn't able to get a satisfactory answer as to the possibility of partial surgery or less invasive alternatives that might fit my situation because of my concerns about my age and my existing serious medical issues.

Doctor, having caused me to wait an hour to see him, did not say he was sorry. He had no sensitivity to me as a patient. [redacted] I asked a follow up, and he said he would not operate on me. He told me I was too heavy. I may be 10 pounds over my ideal weight but he did not weigh me or explain the impact of that. [redacted]

Dr Freiberg is clearly at the top of his game! He is SO experienced and knowledgeable, that I don't feel I need to consult with yet another orthopedist about my bogus knee implant. I lnow he would much prefer that I let him do a revision, I can't take that leap now for fear of complications.

Dr. Andrew Freiberg is the BEST. And his TEAM is the best as well. I was here for a second possible knee operation for the second time (previously 1 1/2 years ago) and he agreed it was now time to proceed.

I have had two knee replacements one shoulder replacement and one torn rotator cuff repair and I have to say I am not a hospital person but every time I've been to Newton-Wellesley or any associate of Newton Wellesley I have always been treated respectfully the doctors are friendly easy to talk to and I advise everybody to go to Newton-Wellesley. I absolutely ador Dr. [redacted] (shoulder) & Dr Freiberg (knees).

I had a knee replacement done by Dr. Freiberg. He is kind, warm and professional. I respect him. I did well with knee, no pain. Now it's hip time. I trust him.

This was a followup after surgery. The doctor went over pre and post conditions and explained things thoroughly. He also listened to, and discussed other concerns I had.

Dr. Freiberg was wonderful. He understood my fears about surgery, and was soothing and comforting, while still telling me the information I need. He has a lovely sense of humor.

Dr. Freiberg is excellent. And, The Kaplan Joint Center is excellent.

This was the 3rd surgeon I spoke to about a hip replacement. This was the first experience where from beginning to end, starting with the PA, the surgeon, and the scheduler, that I felt heard. Each person focused on what my goals were and how they could help me achieve them. An experienced surgeon is important, but an empathetic one and someone who is surrounded by an empathetic team is what sets this group above all the rest.

Dr. Frieberg is terrific. Replaced one knee and is doing the second. He did a fantastic job and is very easy to talk to and understand. I HIGHLY recommend him.
