About Anand S Dighe

Dr. Anand S. Dighe is an Associate Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School and Vice Chair for Clinical Operations for Mass General Brigham Pathology.

His clinical and academic work focuses on using informatics, data science, and computational methods to improve laboratory utilization, clinical decision-making, diagnostic accuracy, and laboratory operations.

As Vice Chair for Clinical Operations, Dr. Dighe leads the integration and advancement of clinical laboratory services across Mass General Brigham, with a focus on standardization, quality improvement, operational efficiency, and strategic planning across academic and community hospitals.

Dr. Dighe received his BS in Biology and Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his MD and PhD in Immunology from Washington University School of Medicine. He completed residency training in Laboratory Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital.

His contributions to clinical innovation and patient care have been recognized with the Mass General Brigham Richard Nesson Award for Clinical Innovation and the Massachusetts General Hospital Nathaniel Bowditch Award for Clinical Care Improvement.
