My hesitation is not so much about this provider. It is more to do with whether my options can be combined to meet all that I am looking for in this surgery. I have definite ideas and recognize that meeting them all simultaneously may not be possible. I'm not sure that the doctors involved have the time to try to think outside the box. I'm not sure that is something many patients may be hoping for.

I had a great first visit experience with Dr. Colwell. I wasn't sure of the direction I wanted to go in and Dr. Colwell explained all of the options carefully to me. She drew pictures so I could easily understand what the surgery would entail. After examining me and listening to my concerns she recommended a different direction where she believes I will get a better outcome. Dr. Colwell was recommended to me by a friend who had the same planned surgery and I am very happy she is a part of my care team.

Dr. Colwell took time to listen and explained in detail of my upcoming surgical procedure. She also made me feel at ease about the surgery.

She was very attentive and actually listened to what I said about, you know, a certain procedure that I'd like to have. And even though, you know, it wouldn't be what she would choose, she accommodated me. The surgery scheduling got done really, really fast, much quicker than I thought could ever be. So I think she kind of jumped through hoops to make me be happy. So I'm very, very pleased. Thank you.
