This provider was careful to explain their findings in terms that were easy to understand. They were thorough and I definitely felt that our conversations were "two way" in the best possible way. Our visit was "virtual" however it felt like I was sitting in their exam room at MGH.

Dr. Patel was extremely knowledgeable and very thorough in explaining how an aneurysm is formed and the procedure to deal with it. He had reviewed my MRI and test results ahead of time and didn't waste a second having to review it during my appointment. He was kind, patient and I didn't feel rushed whatsoever. I have trust in this doctor and left the appointment feeling. I was in really good hands.

Dr. Patel was not just excellent, he listened, he explained things to me, he put me at ease, I really felt respected by him. You could tell he was exceedingly knowledgeable and I'm glad I'm under his care.

Dr. Patel was superb and was kind enough to refer me to another provider for another issue. Also at Mass General, I'm waiting for an appointment with that provider. I couldn't recommend Dr. Patel more highly.

The entire staff have been amazing. Jesse is a great nurse and went over everything I needed for discharge. But my night nurse last night was also perfect and pleasant and helpful. I wish I could remember her name. The Neuro team was amazing and Dr Patel did a great job and his team. I will be forever thankful for their help and kindness. I was in the Lunder room.

Dr. Patel and NP [redacted] communicated very effectively with my wife and me. We came into the virtual visit very apprehensive about the latest CT scan report we'd seen on Patient Gateway. Dr. Patel explained the results clearly and assured us that in fact there had been no change since the exam 6 months earlier. He explained clearly why he thought our decision not to treat remained a good one. He answered all of our questions - it felt like he had all the time in the world for us.

He took the time to review with me the history of our treatment course, and the need for a different plan. He presented clearly a complex neuro-intervention involving stenting for a damage vertebral artery. He was respectful of my questions, and took the time to answer them fully. I am exceptionally please with his care and look forward to completing the planned procedure. I have the highest regard for Dr. Patel.
