Allison McDonough, MD, Primary Care is the best physician I have had. That is not an exaggeration. She knows my health history, my family, my journey through cancer and other health issues. She has been a great survivorship and lifestyle medicine physician to me. I've lost weight. I'm more active. I am doing more prevention, especially when having had cancer and the treatments that can give you ill effects. She's wonderful.

Thank you for a professional and thorough appointment.

I appreciate the time that Dr. McDonough spent with me, but she didn't seem to have a plan after my blood work came back mostly normal. She simply stated that I should call back if the symptoms continue, but I have been dealing with these symptoms for months. Dr. [redacted] saw this and is having me come in again.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mcdonough for many years. She is superb, highly trained , kind, and extremely intelligent, and although I couldn't rate her more highly than I did, I must say that rating her as if she were a restaurant or a dry cleaner is rather demeaning both to her and to me, as well as to MGH.

Dr. Allison McDonough is an absolutely wonderful doctor, not just professionally, but also she cares about her patients and it comes through when she does her physical with you. She looks at all your other health issues that you're treating with other specialists. She goes over their notes, she goes over has a real dialogue with the patient, asking them what they think about certain things, how they're feeling, what issues they have. She treats the whole body and the whole person, mind and body.
