Affable, competent, efficient. He was reassuring.

Dr Feng was great. The only suggestion I have is to record the appointments so that the patient can read the transcript later. One thing I think is missed by medical providers is that there is a large discrepancy in knowledge between the provider(s) and patients. This is not specific to Dr Feng, it is a general observation across MGH/MEE.

Dr Feng was extremely professional, caring and explained my upcoming procedure in a way that I understood and gave me confidence that he could take care of my medical problems.

I was seeing Dr Feng because of a possible issue which was discovered on MRI, Ct Scan and ultrasound. I was hoping for the best and that was what I got. I was welcomed by his staff and that was comforting. When I met Dr Feng he immediately assured me that what he saw was not problematic. I appreciated his assurances. He than in detail explained what he saw and why he felt it only required another follow up Ct Scan in 6 months to support what he was determining as we talked. Of course I was pleased with his findings. But more importantly how nice I was treated and welcomed by his staff and Dr Feng. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Dr. Feng is very knowledgeable and patient. He is not an alarmist and objectively addressed and allayed our concerns with statistics and clinical experience.

Since the incidental finding of tonsillar cancer in an MRI for a herniated cervical disc early last fall, my experience with the entire team at MEE has been beyond exceptional. From the initial, surgical consult with Dr. Feng I knew I was blessed to be in his care. With his knowledge and experience in the field there was never a doubt in my mind the TORS procedure would be a success. Additionally, he immediately picked up on how detailed my wife and I wanted to be informed and did not "sugar coat" anything. But did so in a conversational way as amongst friends, not doctor/patient. The timeline he provided for recovery, down to the day, was exactly as it occurred, which was extremely helpful to know what I was experiencing was "normal." Words cannot express the depth of my gratitude for having Dr. Feng in my corner.
