Dr Lam was compassionate, competent and kind. Dr Lam listened to our concerns and made thoughtful responses to my daughter's situation. I have been referring other families touched by Alzheimer's and Down Syndrome to MGH. I have specifically referred to Dr. Lam.

Dr. Lam is an excellent listener. She is very obviously invested in my care. It is reassuring to know that she understands my particular medical challenges, and she supports my active role in joint decision making. She doesn't dismiss any questions, or my experiences. She helped me decide next steps, and told me what to expect, and when to reach out. I feel very comfortable with her.

Dr. Lam is a phenomenal doctor. She explains everything. She's so caring. And I give her a 10 plus.

Unfortunately Dr Lam was not the correct doctor for me to see. She was recommended but the recommender perhaps did not understand the type of doctor Dr. Lam is. Dr Lam said she'd get back and try to send me in the correct direction.

Excellent! Dr Lam always totally listens to what I see. I feel at ease in her office at all times. She understands the effects of my medications.

She was very good at listening to my husband speak of my history of medical issues.

Although we waited for over an hour we appreciate the care Dr Lam provided us. She is thorough and provides wonderful care to each and every patient. We never felt rushed and if necessary we will wait again, not every appointment takes 15 minutes. We will continue our care and appreciate that sometimes you just have to be patient.

Dr. Alice Lam is a gift to the Epilepsy Community. I am so grateful to be n her care; she is beyond competent and graceful and kind. I also appreciate the quick and kind reponses to my Gateway messages from Dr. Lam and from all the nursing Staff in her Unit.

The provider was very good -excellent. The only issue I had was with the person who did the quick medical check - i.e. blood pressure. She did not speak up or clearly (I am elderly and often don't catch words the first time around). Her attitude was mostly she did not want to be doing what she was doing.

This was my second time at an in person visit in this clinic and it was very busy. However, my provider made my experience there very pleasant.
