Dr. Abraham Cohen is originally from Mexico. He completed his training in internal medicine at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, nephrology at Boston Medical Center, and transplant nephrology at Massachusetts General Hospital. As the lead transplant nephrologist for the Mass General Equity in Kidney Transplantation (EqKT) Initiative, he is looking forward to benefitting all historically disadvantaged patients, including the LatinX and Black communities.

Dr. Cohen Bucay is a great nephrologist: he knows so much about kidneys and how the various medications available affect different aspects of their function. He also seems very kind and is happy to answer any and all questions, and always asks if I have any more questions before our appointment time ends.
