I was extremely disappointed at the end of the visit to find that he mainly performs the type of surgery that I need at the Waltham Mass General. I need the surgery for transportation and other issues to be done at the main campus and I'm still trying to somehow negotiate that.

Hello, so I just wanted to say that the whole team was amazing, very professional, starting from the nurses, exceptional. The doctor, the surgeon, everyone did a good job, I guess. That is to be determined, but yeah, the only thing is like, I'm just waiting for a follow-up call and I have some questions for the doctor, but my overall experience was amazing. Thanks for the whole team treating me so good. Thanks so much. Bye.

Dr. Bhashyam was very informative about my condition and I was very impressed that he and his physician's assistant actually knew so much about my case before I actually saw him. And so I was very, very happy with that. He knew my situation very well based on looking at the x-rays and he gave me great explanations for what was actually happening and explained the surgery that he would offer, tentatively speaking, without getting further testing done. And I was very, very happy, very, very happy with my appointment. He gave me hope that this could be fixed and I was very happy. I liked his mannerisms. He was very slow.

At this stage, I'm only waiting for the secretary of the provider to schedule the surgery as discussed during the medical appointment. If there is nothing urgent that requires an immediate call, I'd appreciate if I could set the date before the Christmas break. Thanks for your attention on this matter. Regards.

Dr Bhashyam is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He saved my life by his knowledge and expertise in surgery on my left arm (which is my writing arm). He and his staff are always there for me 4 years after the surgery with answers to any of my questions. His office is 100 on a scale of 1-10! I am just glad I am old enough to be his grandmother so he will be around for the rest of my life, if I ever need him again. Oh yes, he has assisted me in other medical problems. He is a keeper for Mass General!

The provider dismissed my pain. I still followed his plan of care and then returned despite not having any relief of pain. The same plan of care was recommended. This physician needs to have some training in empathy, checking his privilege, and the intersectionality of sexism and disability. He told me to "hire help" as a solution to the pain and not using my hand. I also felt that he dismissed me at every appointment as to why I'm having pain and questioned if my pain was real. When I said to the doctor, "I'm having pain all over [my hand]", his response was, "That's not possible."

Dr. Bhashyam was great. Pleasant to talk to and he did a great job explaining his diagnosis. I was very pleased with my appointment with him. The nurse who brought me in didn't interact with me at all. She confirmed who I was, brought me to the room, and just said the doctor would see me shortly, and then she was gone. I was unsure if I was to get an x-ray prior to the appointment, The nurse was gone before I could ask the question. I did not get her name. All I can say is that she was an Asian woman. Most every nurse I have interacted with at MGH has been conscientious and pleasant to deal with. I didn't really appreciate this one's manner.

My experience with this care provider was extremely frustrating and disappointing. [redacted] From the moment I finally saw the provider, I felt completely unheard. Despite sharing my concerns and detailed medical history, the provider immediately jumped to a diagnosis without taking the time to listen or consider what I had said. When I attempted to explain why this diagnosis didn't fit my situation, he was dismissive and unwilling to reconsider, which only made me feel more ignored and disrespected. It was clear that my input and well-being were not a priority, and I left the appointment feeling like I had been brushed off. [redacted]
