I am a new patient of Dr. Duclos and she was very professional and took the time to answer my concerns.

The appointment felt rushed and my concerns felt over like overheard. I had a difficult time connecting with Abby and the appointment overall was just rushed. [redacted]

Dr. Abby Duclos is a kind and intelligent ob/gyn. I trust her fully and can talk with her easily about my health. She is thorough yet gentle, competent yet very warm. [redacted]

My husband and I were so excited for this appointment as it would be the first time we got to hear our baby's heartbeat. The doctor we had, Abby Duclos, made this experience unforgettable in the worst way. She went on and on about how hard 3 kids was for her and had a generally judgmental attitude about this being our 3rd child in a relatively short amount of time. Extremely unhelpful and unwanted comments. [redacted] I had additional questions which I felt I couldn't ask because if the way I was being treated.

I has an appt with Dr. Duclos first time and I am completely satisfied with this visit. Doctor listened very carefully and answered all my questions.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Abby. I had a biopsy done. Everything was explained to me. She was wonderful, efficient, warm, compassionate, and I got my results back very quickly.

First time at this practice and I loved everyone! Dr. Duclos was phenomenal as well as her staff!

Just felt very easily dismissed- first time back at this office in years. Think the doc was done with me in maybe 5 minutes and acted like I wasted her time

[redacted] I felt like I was not listened to, the provider was condescending and spoke to me in a way that did not inspire my confidence in entrusting them with my care.

I did not feel the provider took the time to listen to my concerns and how my past medical history affected my current situation. She would roll her eyes when I talked about how I was feeling and I felt judged. [redacted] I have every right to communicate how I feel, and to ask providers for guidance. I felt shut down, like because I was feeling something that wasn't an answer in a medical study, that my feelings weren't valid.

They should listen to the patient and their concerns.

I would just provide a note that if a patient is expressing either a preference or advocacy to pause and ask the patient why that course of action is preferred or important to them rather than immediately dismissing and misunderstanding what they're saying. Additionally, don't rush through the appointment where the patient feels like they cannot further the conversation and ask questions. The second the provided walked in the room it was like they were ready to get out.

I felt that Dr. Duclos paid attention to my concerns and to my fears about the test that she was doing on me, explained everything while she was doing it, and explained how I was going to feel. She helped keep me calm during a very stressful time in her office. And I have already told other people that if they were looking for a gynecologist, that they should look into going to see her.

I had a very positive experience with my care provider. They are always professional, compassionate, and attending to my needs. They take the time to listen and explain things clearly and make me feel comfortable and respected. It's clear that they generally care about my well-being, and that means a lot. I truly appreciate the support and high-level of care they provide.

Dr. Duclos continues to observe the cyst near my ovary by recommending and ordering an MRI.

The doctor was amazing and I wish I could say that for all in the MGH network

Everything was generally fine, it's just I'm used to, I was used to Dr. [redacted] who listened intently to everything I had to say and I didn't feel the same with this doctor. I felt that I just, what I said didn't matter. Like it's what meant it, I mean it just didn't feel like She was interested in what I was saying. We both had a very similar story, something very personal and common. I don't know, I just felt like, to me, she had no interest in my story or just conversing. So it just, I don't know, felt one-sided.

It is a great provider

It has been probably too long since I had been to a Gynecologist and I was concerned that I had a serious problem. Dr Abby Duclos was very thorough and reassuring about my concerns

My experience was wonderful. She really listened to everything that was going on with me and really explained everything nicely and I really appreciated it.

She listened to my concerns and explained things well. She made me relaxed and comfortable during the exam. I will definitely continue my care with her.

Dr Duclos has been an excellent provider to me. She shared a difficult diagnosis with me and showed compassion and concern. She answered all my questions thoroughly. I highly respect her and actually return to her even though I have moved further away.
