I have been a patient of Dr. Zusman for two decades. He was the first doctor to listen carefully and made the correct diagnosis those many years ago. Dr. Zusman is outstanding. The telehealth funnel is just fine. If this were simply Dr. Zusman's office this would be just super. But there's this other portal thing that's staffed by people outside Dr. Zusman's office, RNs maybe, who ... look, the portal technology that does not connected directly with Dr. Zusman & his assistant should be tossed in the garbage heap. There's really no other way to say it. I don't need to get nagged for blood tests, idk why RNs call me to harangue me about whatever it is, if the button to request an appointment in the portal technology doesn't do anything ... just delete it folks. A lot of your hospital's technology "gets in the way", and the bureaucracy the hospital installed to patch the broken technology just makes it worse. IMHO.

As always Dr. Zusmans interpresonal skill were outstanding, he listens closely, answers all questions and is very through in reviewing medications. Just a wonderful Dr. So glad to be his patient

He had not read the radiology reports and was not aware of the reason for the visit. He then had to take time to look at my portal comments but was also unable to have time to access the radiology reports. He asked me to secure and send them to him. Seems inappropriate

It seems like he's at this long enough that he can move around, he just can take a sense of what the different problems are and how to cook out them and some things that you don't need to do and the priorities and so on. Dr. Zusman took the time to understand the symptoms I'd been having and my prior history. I very much appreciated his recommendation to evaluate the structure of my heart before we drew conclusions about what was going on -- and he explained why so well. I am lucky to have been assigned to him when I was in the ER in February for chest pain and shortness of breath. I trust he will find the answers.

Dr. Zusman was excellent. He's respectful, courteous. He's incredibly knowledgeable. My only issue with the appointment was the reception area. I was checked in fine. Checking out, I stood there while there was a lot of side conversations going on. People weren't paying any attention to the people in the lobby. There was one person who was eating. There was laughter. Finally, one man who was having a conversation with the woman said to the person who was eating, you're up. And that person with her mouth full called me over to check me out.

He has been my cardiologist for many years

Although I had to wait a bit to get in to see Dr Zusman, he was worth the wait. Dr Zusman listened and answered all of my questions, clearly and in layman's language. His experience and knowledge is remarkable. His presence is commanding, but not overpowering. A great doctor, who met me where I am, paid attention to my concerns and addressed them, coupled with an honest and comforting - and at times humorous - "bedside" manner.

Dr. Zusman is one of the few physicians I know that explains each result, explains the impact on your current health, explains the impact if not improving those numbers or end of improving those numbers and how to improve that. And he breaks things down in layman's terms for you to understand as a patient your overall health and what you need to do. He really does an excellent job at that. Any technical questions that you have and you don't understand on results, he explains it to you very thoroughly. He's been a life changer. I had a heart attack in 2018, and God doctors us and my heart has been in good shape. I'm feeling better and losing weight. I'm really thankful. I hope he stays around for a long time.

I did not see a nurse, as was asked in a previous question, but rather a technician who administered the EKG right there is the office. He did this in a very professional and respectful way; he was highly competent. I then saw Dr. Zusman for my regular 6-month check-up. I have seen him for around ten years and, as always, I felt that he covered everything very well.
