Yes, overall Dr. Kai is just a very professional, personal, very extremely kind, courteous doctor who really makes the time, takes the time, took the time with me to listen to any concerns I had, listen to my history of what was going on. I just think he's fabulous. He has an incredible bedside manner and I'm so grateful that he's my doctor. I would definitely recommend him highly to anyone. Thank you very much. Bye-bye.

The doctor is a great professional and is always there whenever I have questions about my problems

This was a follow-up to my appointment a year ago, when I was having difficulty breathing at times. Dr. Saukkonen spent a great deal of time with me, was very thorough and caring, and ordered some tests. (The issue turned out to be cardiac-related, and my cardiologist prescribed a beta-blocker, resulting in the disappearance of respiratory symptoms.) As a result, Dr. Saukkonen concluded, at this appointment, a year later, that my breathing sounded normal, and I won't need to see him again, unless there's a change, of course.

This provider was the most thorough I have seen in the last decade at mgh.

The doctor and the staff were fine. The only thing I would like is to have them mail me a breakdown of my appointment, a future appointment that's scheduled with the dates and the times and what building I'm supposed to be in for the test. I only got it on email and I'm not great on the computer. So I would appreciate like a week or two in advance for the office to send me out a written notice my mailing address. Thank you.

My care provider is Dr. Saukkonen. I cannot really put into words how much I appreciate the care that I've been given by him and his office for the past 11, almost 12 years. I rely solely on his judgment and his care, and he has not let me down. He has been very attentive and making sure that I have every medication and every appliance that will help me perform better. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Saukkonen and his whole team, from the people at the front desk to his nurse practitioner to everybody involved. They are wonderful. When he's not there, if I call, somebody gets back to me. I can't ask for more than that.

This office is very well run. The testing was done by a technician who helped explain both what and why the testing was done - and contrasted results to those done one year ago. Dr Saukkonen is thorough and answers my questions. My concerns were heard and addressed. He is the sort of doctor I would recommend without hesitation.
