I have been seeing Dr John Trautman for over ten years. He is professional and very helpful. I have never had a bad experience in this office.

I went in for a specific follow up with Dr. Trautman, but as always, he covered all aspects of my medical concerns. Dr. Trautman doesn't rush you in and out like some other Dr's do. Not only did he cover all my physical aspects but he also listened, cared and gave me advice on my personal life.

Dr Trautman has always been accessible and thorough. He asks the right questions and always goes through my records to make sure I am keeping up with appointments and meds. He raises dosages, as needed, makes referrals when necessary and reminds of vitamins I no longer need. I always feel he is well read because he answers my questions honestly and tells me the information that backs his response. His calm demeanor and responses make you feel you were really seen and heard.

Dr Trautman provides the best overall care and is always very well informed showing he cares about your health providing good well thought out answers to my questions. The information re my chart is always up to date having no mistakes and has always the very latest information with regard to treatments and medicines he has previously prescribed. After 15 years, I have never had to.correct him. His followup is remarkable. His advice is always very well thought out and my conversations with him have always resulted in a mutual understanding because of his willingness to listen and care. When and if he is presented with a problem, he is willing to seek advice and this usually results presents a good outcome for both of us. He is not afraid to speak his mind and with all these qualities promotes watchers of trust which is so very important.

Dr. Trautman and team have been excellent through routine physicals, emergency care referrals, and discussion of sensitive topics. Preventive medicine at its best. He is willing to indulge my detailed questioning and sooth mild hypochondria. Desk people, nurse and NP, phlebotomist: all excellent. (I've been spending a lot of time in Langone/Stony Brook systems lately (with elderly mom) and sense the overwhelming production pressure. This practice keeps that at bay).

He was really great. I really liked him. He respected me, and he listened to me, and he was very thorough. He ordered all the tests I needed, and he followed through with all my tests, and he went out of his way to adjust my medicines so that I could feel better sooner, and he was just great. So I would recommend him to anyone. He's just wonderful. Thank you. As far as seeing nurses, I just saw an aide, I believe, and she She was lovely. I had no problem at all, but I just would have to say that I just didn't talk about the things. He came right in, so I really didn't have time to really speak with her that much.
