He talked at me not to me. Barely addressed the MRI. Ask me no questions about how the quality of my life is affected by my arthritis. Told me basically that this is an aging problem, just lumping me with all older adults not knowing or asking anything about me. Told me to go live my life. [redacted]

This is the first time I saw Dr. Bessey and he was very good at explaining what he saw on the MRI and the different choices I needed to make going forward, and he answered all the questions that I asked him, and was more than courteous and professional. If I need further assistance from him, I will make another appointment.

Dr Bessey took my case on due to my original surgeon's unexpected absence. When I met him it was clear he had updated himself about my case. He gained my trust by presenting himself with confidence and kindness. I'm grateful.

Informative & Knoweledgable

Dr.Bessey was very personable and down to earth. He reviewed my MRI and was able to explain to me in layman terms what we're looking at and what he could do from a surgical perspective to correct the issue.

He was knowledgeable and his manner put me at ease about the future. It was Avery good visit. It looks like I will not need spine surgery, but in the likely event that I do need surgery, I would feel that it would be successful.

He recommended a spinal fusion and took the time to clearly explain the reasoning behind it, as well as what to expect from the procedure. He was professional, respectful, and thorough in answering all of my questions. Dr. Bessey's kind and personable manner helped put me at ease, and I felt that he genuinely cared about my concerns.
