An excellent cardiologist who is not only highly knowledgeable but also genuinely kind. Dr. Januzzi listens carefully, and explains things that easy to understand, and truly cares about his patients.

Dr Januzzi is the smartest cardiologist in his specialty area in the US, and is on the forefront of research. Importantly, he is also extremely down to earth, warm, and easy to talk to. He did not make me feel like he was rushing, and spent extra time analyzing the etiology of my issues and listening to my thoughts and opinions. He explained his rationale for medication's and he recommended next steps in very understandable language. I entered the appointment nervous and skeptical about medication I was taking, and I left feeling comfortable and 100% confident in the plan he recommended. Dr Januzzi reads my chart noting all incidents which happened since my last visit. He comes to the exam room well prepared! His knowledge covers more than "cardiology "! I am fortunate to be his patient!

He is Caring, Knowledgeable, and likable

I was prescribed a GLP1 which required prior approval. The prior approval team submitted weight loss as the diagnosis. which not covered by medicare. I am told by Medicare part D that given my medical issues there are other diagnosis for which the med can be covered. So the prior approval team did not list these conditions. I am now waiting for an appeal decision or Medicare.

I had open heart surgery and received a St Jude's aortic heart valve 20 years ago and I have been a patient of Dr. Januzzi since then. He is an outstanding physician and an outstanding person.
