Donna Felsenstein, MD

Dr. Felsenstein is a "20" out of "10" scale. She is for me what I'd call a "medical detective". She listened intensely to all my symptoms and reviewed all previous symptoms and tests. She deeply cares for her patients saying several times, "I'm so sorry for all the pain you are in, I can see how uncomfortable you are." Dr Felsenstein always reaches out to other Drs on my behalf, Neurology, Rheumatology, EMG testing and much more. She does the referrals when I'm at my appointment. [redacted] She believes in the patient being their own "historian" and will ask for detailed information including tests, medications and more during the appt. [redacted] Dr. Felsenstein is not ending your appt in 20 minutes looking at the clock [redacted]. She looks at YOU, and spends as much time as needed with her patients. That well worth waiting for. Great doctor and a great person to deal with. Spends as much time with you as needed. No rushing. One of only a few left like her. All doctors should be like her.

There is no one like Dr felsenstein. She needs to be cloned. She is so utterly dedicated and devoted to each and everyone of her patients and shows utmost respect and care for their suffering. She represents what MGH used to be like before it was taken over by investors. She is what healthcare providers should be.

Dr Felsenstein is special, she is an expert that goes out of her way to help and understand with compassion which is extremely important for me since I have an unusual chronic illness which most doctors don't understand
