Camille Nelson Kotton MD, FIDSA, FAST is the Clinical Director of Transplant and Immunocompromised Host Infectious Diseases in the Infectious Diseases Division at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She spends the majority of her time seeing inpatients and outpatients, before and after solid organ and bone marrow transplant, as well as other immunocompromised hosts. Her interests include vaccination, travel medicine for transplant recipients, and reducing the infectious risks of immunocompromising medications. She has written numerous articles and chapters, and also speaks nationally and internationally on a regular basis. She is the past chair of the Infectious Disease Community of Practice, American Society of Transplantation, and is on the planning committee for the American Transplant Congress. She has excellent clinic flexibility and can often see transplant patients on a fairly immediate basis.

Dr. Kotton is a wonderful physician. When I first met her in the hospital, she spent as much time that was needed to explain what was going on with my condition. Very kind and caring.

I was very impressed with Dr. Kotton's preparation for my appointment. She had reviewed all of my records and had reviewed my CT scan with the radiologist. She spent plenty of time with me and explained things very well. It was a very reassuring visit. I highly recommend her.

The doctor was terrific! The problem we had was that the blood test data from Yale New Haven Hospital and CedarSinai was not available, even though the accounts have technically been linked. This is a major problem since the doctor could not see the relevant blood test data, although I was able to fill her in on some of it. Many thanks to Dr. Kotton! She is really impressive in her background and her knowledge base.

I have been dealing with a strange medical issue for several months. I was referred to Dt. Kotton's office by my NP at my Primary Care office. From the initial call to my appointment, I received nothing but amazing care from all involved. They listened and made appropriate referrals to other specialists I need to help me get a resolution and a treatment plan to my unique situation.
