The focus of this provider was on a "scientific" assessment of my illness. There was no real "care" given. I felt that I was with this person because she was determining whether or not I should be released from the hospital.

Meeting with Dr Adams is extremely helpful to me as I struggle with 'living with cancer'. She validates my feelings and concerns and listens to me. She reads my file ahead of our meeting so always know what has transpired since we last met - scan results, appointments with my oncologist, etc. I am grateful that Dr Adams is part of my care team.
